RedBull x MARTK'D

  • The Challenge 
    • Design a program that would drive awareness and traffic to Red Bull Multi Purpose venue with the goal of establishing a community.  
  • What we did 
    • Identified and shortlisted 20 artists to come up with a one of a kind design in 20 minutes. 
    • Curated a Sneaker Art Battle program with a theme that allowed participating artists the opportunity to come up with a one of a kind design for a chance at a cash prize. 
    • Hired celebrity judges and entertainment to help raise the profile of the program and artists. 
  • The Results 
    • 1000+ new visitors to the new Red Bull space 
    • 100+ Artists applications for participation 
    • $5K in scholarships and prizing 
    • Created high volume of engagement via social media

Toronto Raptors x MARTK’D

  • The Challenge 
    • Partner with a local arts agency to create a micro exhibit to showcase local artists artwork in celebration of the Raptors community  
  • What we did 
    • Secured 50+ artists to create Toronto Raptors theme artwork 
    • Created an art on sneaker area for players and guests to get their sneakers customized. 
    • Hosted a series of fireside chats with well known artists and basketball personalities.  
    • Worked with local media to drive awareness to the exhibit and drive awareness to the program. 
  • The Results 
    • 100+ pieces of artwork showcased  
    • Commissioned 50+artists 
    • Customized 100+ sneakers for players and guests
    • 75K+ visitors to the exhibit

Oxford Properties x MARTK'D

  • The Challenge 
    • Drive traffic and sales to support Oxford Properties immediate goal which is to bring awareness to the vendors in their malls.  
  • What we did 
    • Curated and executed a three (3) day  Art on Sneakers program that showcased local talent, engaged the community and increased traffic to the mall.  
    • The Art on Sneakers program served as a platform to celebrate the community while creating an intergenerational and multi-curtal safe space. 
  • The Results 
    • Increased sales to partnered vendor by 63%
    • Increased traffic to the mall by 50%
    • Created a new pipeline of visitors to the mall (guest list of 1000+)
    • 100+ artist applications + increased social media presence/traffic 

Foot Locker x MARTK’D

  • The Challenge 
    •  Create an in-store activation that showcases the intersection of education, art and community with the goal of highlighting new and existing community influencers to the Foot Locker network. 
  • What we did 
    • Secured celebrity guests for a fireside chat with the theme of “Education and Culture” 
    • Showcased artwork and photography inside Foot Locker to showcase local talent 
    • Built out a mini sneaker exhibit with the theme of ‘For the Six” Toronto 
    • Developed a social media and influencer program to drive awareness, traffic and sales to the store. 
  • The Results  
    • Commissioned 30+ creatives 
    • Increases sales by 36% during the duration of the exhibit. 
    • 100K+ eyeballs and visitors to the exhibit

Cleveland Cavs x MARTK'D

  • The Challenge 
    • Create a program that supports the arts and culture community of Ohio and position the Quick Loans Arena to be welcoming to creatives that may not be directly involved in basketball. .   
  • What we did 
    • Created a Call for Artists for the local arts and culture community. 
    • Design and executed an art on sneakers competition that gave artists an opportunity to be highlighted and celebrated like athletes.
    • Partnered with local non-for-profit organizations to create a holistic approach to building a creative community for the Cavs. 
  • The Results
    • 500+ new guest to the Quick Loans Arena
    • Created a pipeline of over 100+ artists 
    • Provided Educational scholarships for winners 
    • Winner of competition was given a career opportunity and created a limited edition tee for the Cavs + Artwork

FootAction x MARTK’D

  • The Challenge 
    • Curated an Art on Sneaker Competition to help with the launch of a new Footaction store with the goal of raising the profile of artists and introducing the creative community to the new banner. 
  • What we did 
    • Designed a tournament style contest where 25 artists had a limited amount of time to come up with their own one of a kind sneaker design. 
    • Worked with local influencers and sneaker/streetwear experts to be the judges of the contest. 
    • Partnered with educational platforms to giveaway scholarships to winners 
    • Created a merch program to complement the activation as well as drive sales to Footaction. . 
  • The Results  
    • Created a talent pipeline of 100+ artists and creatives. 
    • Increases sales by 47% during the launch of a new 
    • Increased social media engagement by 50% with the creation of the content.
